Red Fennel Kitchen
ABOUT HER
Hi, I'm Brooke! I am a chef and the self-appointed head taste-tester at Red Fennel Kitchen. I cook for busy working parents, new moms, athletes, and fellow founders around Boston, which mostly means my food is in everyone's fridge except my own. After college, I started a career in data engineering (the classic corporate 8-6) before realizing the nagging sensation in my gut was pushing me toward my true passion: cooking! Now I'm the chef, the marketer, and the person answering your emails at 5AM...this is genuinely a ONE-woman show. I was recently featured on two segments of NBC10's Dish on a Dime, which still feels a little surreal to say out loud. You can also find me popping up (with samples!) at local yoga studios like The Move in Southie and Lotus Yoga in Arlington and Somerville. I am slowly leaning more into postpartum nutrition and meal prep for moms specifically, which I am so excited about and fulfilled by. My mom clients (and of course their families) have been the joy of my life and this business. Outside of Red Fennel, I'm probably eating takeout standing up at my counter because I am fully cooked-out. I am a huge reader (on my 49th book of 2026), white wine supremacist, and my most-used app is Facebook Marketplace.
The Founder's Note
"I met Brooke through the Wellth Society, and the second she told me what she was offering women and families - and the price point she was doing it at - I knew she belonged on The List! She’s truly the sweetest, incredibly knowledgeable chef, and exactly the kind of person you want helping make your week feel a little easier. Whether you need help meal prepping, feeding picky eaters, navigating postpartum nutrition, or simply taking one more thing off your plate, Brooke makes it feel doable.. and delicious. This is one of those services where you immediately think: wait, why am I not doing this already?"
- Olivia, Founder of The List
...you want someone who tells it to you straight, laughs easily, and takes food seriously without ever taking herself too seriously. I'm the Type A friend who shows up with way too much food "just in case" and a full-blown itinerary for even the most mundane excursions. Bonus points: if you come from a sarcastic family, we will be the best of friends!
