About This EventIf you're a mom who works outside the house who has been feeling stuck, restless, or wondering "does my career still fit who I am now?", this workshop was made for you.
This 90-minute career workshop with certified career coach Sarah Decker is a space to begin naming what's actually happening and to begin exploring what might be next for you. Whether you’re actively considering a career change or simply noticing the desire for something more, this session offers a supportive and low-pressure way to start the process.
The woman who left for maternity leave is not the same woman going (or who went) back. There's a real identity shift that happens when you become a mother, and almost no one is talking about what that means for your career. Not only the logistics of juggling parenting and working. The deeper thing: who you are now, what you actually want, and whether the work you were doing before still fits the person you are now.
Whether you're heading back from leave and dreading it, already back and not quite landing right, or simply noticing that something feels off... this session is designed for exactly where you are.
Through guided reflection, simple exercises, and honest group conversation, Sarah will help you:
Get language for the identity shift that not enough people are naming
Begin to reconnect with who you are professionally, right now
Uncover early clues about what you actually want next
Leave with one clear, true next step — not a to-do list, a direction
This workshop is intentionally designed to be accessible, welcoming, and energizing. Come as you are, whether you’re feeling clear, confused, hopeful, or all three.
