The Founder's Note

"I discovered Child Therapy Boston online and immediately loved their play-based approach - it felt warm, thoughtful, and real. Then I met Alison, and it all made sense. What she’s created for kids and their families is incredibly special: a space where children can feel safe, understood and supported, while parents feel supported too. I’m so happy to have Allison and Child Therapy Boston on The List."

- Olivia, Founder of The List

Coping & Connecting

Hosted by Child Therapy Boston

Throughout the Fall
Needham/Belmont/Sudbury

🍎Is your child having a little bit of a hard time settling into the school year? The new-school-year adjustment can bring ALL the things — new teachers, new friendships, big feelings, anxiety, stress, and figuring out where everyone fits in. 💛 That's why we created Coping and Connecting — a group that works on friendship skills AND emotional regulation at the same time. Kids practice things like: 💬Making and navigating friendships 🧠Managing big feelings and anxiety 💪Building confidence and flexibility 🤝Using coping skills when they're actually in a social situation And because we're Child Therapy Boston, we're not just sitting around talking about it! 😉Our groups use games, creative projects, teamwork challenges, and hands-on activities so kids can practice these skills while they're having fun. If your child could use a little extra support with friendships, emotions, or both, Coping and Connecting might be a great fit. 🍂We have several social-emotional groups running this fall in Needham, Belmont, and Sudbury.
