Meaghan Decker

Riverview Psychotherapy

Meaghan Decker - Therapist, MA

ABOUT HER

I’m a therapist with a focus on supporting individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and loss. My work is rooted in the belief that emotional experiences are rarely simple, and that it’s possible to hold multiple, often conflicting feelings at the same time. I’m especially drawn to helping people make sense of these moments, when things feel overwhelming, uncertain, or hard to put into words.

My approach is grounded, relational, and paced to meet you where you are. I aim to create a space where you don’t have to filter or minimize what you’re feeling, and where we can slowly work toward a greater sense of steadiness, clarity, and connection to yourself.

The Founder's Note

"The kind of therapist who understands that motherhood and fertility experiences are rarely black and white - and creates space for all of it."

- Olivia, Founder of The List

You’ll love working with me if you value depth over quick solutions, and want support making sense of complex or conflicting emotions. You’re open to slowing down, turning inward, and building a more grounded, connected relationship with yourself.

now for the good stuff...

Favorite way to unwind
I unwind in simple ways, being outside, going for walks with my dog, singing loudly in my car, or having a quiet moment to myself. Most evenings, though, you’ll find me on the couch with my husband watching bad TV and eating popcorn.
Morning routine must-haves
Coffee, a slower start, and a few quiet moments before the day picks up. Recently, my 4-year-old has made a routine of watching the ducks in our pond each morning, and it’s become one of my favorite ways to begin the day.
Current obsession
Epic High Fantasy books.
