Practice Makes Present
ABOUT HER
Hi! I’m a married, mom of two magical kids who has a passion for supporting folks through the perinatal phase of parenthood. After experiencing my own perinatal mental health challenges, I realized there is just not enough support for new parents. I pivoted the population I served and started my own practice in 2021. I have my MSW from Simmons University and truly appreciate the combination of working directly with clients, and also the larger advocacy part of my profession. I believe we can’t expect people to fully improve if the systems they live in are broken. This requires policy change, advocating for maternal rights and improving health outcomes for all, especially the BIPOC community.
The Founder's Note
"Sarah has a warmth about her that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you meet her. As both a therapist and a mom, she brings a rare combination of expertise, empathy, and real-world understanding to her work. She has a way of making conversations feel human rather than clinical, while still providing the thoughtful guidance and support her clients need during some of life's biggest transitions."
- Olivia, Founder of The List
You appreciate some humor and silliness from your therapist. You want someone who is a mom and has struggled with their own postpartum mental health. You don’t mind honesty and an occasional push from your therapist.
